NCWARN

In March of 2009 I started working on a redesign of NC WARN’s website. NC WARN is a non-profit located in Durham NC, dedicated to informing the public of the dangers of climate change and methods to reduce it through clean energy and energy efficiency. I was asked to create a modern, bright look for the site and build it in a way that the staff at NC WARN could easily maintain themselves. I decided to build the site using WordPress. This was my first full site that I built using WordPress as a Content Management System. It allowed me to streamline their article and file management and quickly train their staff to use the system. Now NC WARN manages their own site requiring minimal help from me. In September of 2013 I updated the look of the site to fit in with more modern design trends.
