This was one of the most technically challenging spots that I ever did, and it was also one of the most fun! This spot was shot in a stop-motion fashion with a digital SLR camera. The director had the actor perform in slow motion, so that I could speed up the footage to give it that jerky style. And then I spent weeks masking hand drawn sandwich and price drawings to give the illusion that the actor was actually drawing them onto the chalk board. It was a very time consuming process but resulted in a very cool look. I also animated the stick figures jumping up and down for joy, which was not as difficult, but equally fun.
