DinnerBracket Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the DinnerBracket iOS application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
DinnerBracket is a restaurant tournament app for iOS that helps you decide where to eat. Build a bracket of restaurants, vote head-to-head, and crown a champion. The App runs locally on your device and uses Apple's Maps service for restaurant search.
3. License
DinnerBracket is provided to you as a personal, non-commercial license. You may install and use the App on devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services agreement. You may not redistribute, sell, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the App.
4. System Requirements
- iOS 17 or later
- Location Services permission (optional — needed only for nearby restaurant search)
5. No Guarantees About Restaurant Information
Restaurant search results, availability, hours, and contact information are provided by Apple's Maps service and may be incomplete or out of date. Always confirm hours and availability directly with the restaurant before traveling.
6. Purchases
DinnerBracket is free to download and includes a set number of free tournaments. An optional one-time "Unlimited Pass" purchase removes the tournament limit. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's payment and refund policies. We do not process payments directly. Purchases can be restored on any device signed in to the same Apple ID.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RESTAURANT DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE, LOSS, OR UNHAPPY DINNERS CAUSED BY THE USE OF THE APP.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERTIZONTICAL STUDIOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, SERVICE INTERRUPTION, OR DEVICE DAMAGE.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Your license to use the App terminates if you violate these Terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
